Convention Committee

Employee Benefits Committee
Develops programs and services for those who specialize in life, health, and employee benefits products. Interacts with regulatory and legislative officials regarding pending and current legislation and disseminates appropriate information to the association. The committee will also assist in securing employee benefits related speakers for conferences and conventions.

Membership Development Committee
Develops and implements plans for attracting new independent agencies, benefits agencies and supporting members to the Association. Assists the IIAG staff in increasing association engagement among agency members. Committee members assist during the onboarding of new members through a welcome ambassador program and help to increase engagement with current members through outreach programs.

Past Presidents YAC Scholarship Committee
Selects the recipient of the annually awarded Past Presidents Scholarship. IIAG's Immediate Past President and Immediate Past YAC Chairman along with a member at large appointed by the President reviews the submitted applications and awards the candidate or candidates.

Young Agents Committee
Agents under the age of 40 make up IIAG's largest committee and hold three meetings a year, the YAC Sales & Leadership Committee, the Will Weston IV YAC Classic, and the YAC Annual Conference. This committee works to create networking opportunities, events and programming that will build the skills necessary for a successful career in the independent agency system.
